Presently a member of the Board of Governors of RSD .Ken Burnett retired after a successful career laying specialised airfield surfaces . He has worked in the Falkland islands , the Balkans and outer Mongolia and now lives in Newcastle , Co.DownDavid Wells (1951-59) retired as 1ST XV coach at Methodist college after 28 years of unparalleled success, he will continue to coach at a lower level** .

He was selected to captain the Ireland U21 team in the IRB U21 world championships . David has since given up his rugby career because of injury.
